Keep the Pressure Up for a Rainy Day Fund!
We’ve launched a big campaign to make this a crucial part of the 2010 campaign debate, but we need your help. Can you make a contribution to support our work?
By raising $2,000 to launch our “Vote for a Rainy Day Fund” campaign, we will be able to:
- Create a new microsite (small website) for this campaign.
- Develop background materials for editorial writers and begin planning editorial board meetings.
- Create a database of business owners who support a Rainy Day Fund.
- Start building a coalition of organizations in support of a robust Rainy Day Fund via kicker reform.
- Get the religious community engaged in this campaign.
$50 will pay for the gas to get a volunteer to a meeting with a legislative candidate in eastern Oregon.
$100 pays for an organizer for one whole day to recuit coalition partners.
$200 transmits a press release to 90 media outlets across Oregon.
$500 pays for a microsite for our Rainy Day Fund campaign.
