Rainy Day Kicker Reform

Summary: Oregon’s “kicker” is a tax rebate given to individuals and corporations whenever there’s a projected budget surplus of more than 2%. We’re part of a coalition of business leaders, labor groups and religious leaders advocating to redirect money from the kicker into a “rainy day” contingency fund that will make the state less vulnerable to recession.
